Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 1 May 2026
Hanasay is a small, focused product. To keep it useful for everyone, please follow a few simple rules. Breaking them may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Things you agree not to do
- Don't share your account. One account per person. Don't resell access or pool a single subscription between multiple people.
- Don't scrape or reverse-engineer the service. That includes our APIs, content, and the speech-recognition pipeline. Don't use the service to build a competing product.
- Don't automate abuse. No bots, scripts, load-testing, or anything else designed to evade rate limits or stress the service. Use Hanasay the way a human would.
- Don't record other people without their consent. The microphone is for your voice. If you're holding a phone in a room with other people, you're responsible for whether that is OK where you live.
- Don't upload or feed in illegal content. No content that is illegal where you live or where we operate, no harassment, no content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Don't try to break the service. No attempts to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system, or to interfere with how it works for other users.
What we may do
If we believe an account is breaking these rules, we may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate it without notice. For minor issues we'll usually email first.
